Depending on your bathroom you could set one end over your toilet, so the other end of the bench will be able to help the user slide to your shower. When using this style of bench the user again should be able to help move himself a little.
Sliding Transfer Benches
This style is perfect for the user who isn’t able to help move himself very much. All you have to do is help get him or her onto the chair. then slide the chair to the shower area. This is the easiest way to transfer anyone, even if the user can be helping a little bit.
Heavy Duty Bariatric Transfer Benches
Heavy duty transfer benches are for users who need a little bit more support under them. I still recommend a padded transfer bench for this style of chair for user comfort.
