Semi-electric beds are a good step up from manual. Instead of having to crank 2 positions you now only have to use the hand crank to adjust the head of the bed.

Full electric beds are the easiest method. This is for caretakers or users who do not have enough strength or are tired of using hand cranks. Being realistic, full electric beds are the most convenient but they cost more. They can be unnecessary for some users and lifesavers for others.
